The top half of the Belt should have some real quality in it this season. Wins will not come easy.

POSITIVES: Jordon Varnado and Wesley Person return, and that is saying a lot right there. Top two scorers. Person has been a stat sheet stuffer since he walked on campus, and has to be all over the Troy record books. As always, this team should shoot very well, and should live by the 3, and live fairly well.

NEGATIVES: No real size on this team, and even if you live on the perimeter, it does help. One dimensional teams are always prey to cold shooting nights.

Varnado and Person are the type players who can take over a game, and they will do that at times this year. Troy should be good enough to go toe-to-toe with the big guys in the SBC.
