RE: CUSA Lines in The Sand - Week 2
so you beat a garbage team by 7? congratulations?
I imagine you probably laid a substantial bet on UTSA winning outright and are here to gloat about your five or six figure winnings, right? if you had been that confident before the game, I wish you would have shared those insights so that we all could have made some easy cash in Vegas

Why so bitter? Even if Baylor was ****, they still count as a P5 win and god knows this conference could use some of those.

that post wasn't intended as bitter, and frankly even after re-reading I don't see how that was your takeaway. but to your point, I was rooting for UTSA the entire game and definitely wanted to see CUSA win.
that was an ironic post, thinly mocking him for essentially calling everyone who picked Baylor stupid. In addition, I was pointing out the fact that he was beating his chest for barely defeating a "garbage team" - his own words. the fact was further reinforced by pointing out that Vegas also picked the garbage team to win by 12; and Vegas isn't in the habit of handing out free money since that's not how Vegas was built.

lol looks like I may have triggered someone. But really, chill guy. Yeah maybe I'm gloating a little. That's what you do when the odds were against you. I actually picked UTSA by two possessions.
But I noticed that roughly half of people here were picking Baylor and those who put justifications were related to "they won't get embarassed again, they will be motivated this time, they are angry and need someone to take it out on". All of which can't fix what Baylor is missing. Baylor has loss 7/8 games and did nothing during the off season. They are a hurt program and we saw it last night even with UTSA making some mistakes. I'm saying that, many people probably didn't think their prediction through (which is fine) and just picked Baylor based on reputation or other reasons. Anyone who looked into UTSA would have seen that they went 7-6 w a bowl, brought back many starters, top in conference with recruiting, etc. It's a top CUSA team vs a bottom hurt Big 12 team. But, it's done now. On to Southern.
