Not a bad preview but I'm chuckling on the airplane to Reno when he thinks Nevada has the edge over us in receivers...

What is so difficult about the name Woodside?

Apparently their top three receivers are equal to our! ????

This article made me laugh. The game may end up close but for none of the reasons they seem to think. Obviously, they have written the whole article based solely on UT stats from the Elon game.

The writer was hitting about 50%.

Logan Woodwind will breeze to All-American and be gone by the sixth round.

If Toledo's defense is any good, we win a close one 24-20. If the defense is not, the game will be a shootout.

Anyone saying NW is mediocre doesn't understand college football. That mediocre NW team barely lost to #15 WMU last season.
Nevada was in that game...and Nevada will be in this one. Regarding receivers? They have some young speed for sure! A Cody Thompson??? I think not.

Well, I imagine it's pretty easy for some people to confuse Woodside with CNN producer Whiteside ... I mean such a striking resemblance.

I didn't bother to read the article, but if Toledo does not score TDs in the red zone the score will be close.

I agree. If we get into the red zone, we should get a purposeful penalty. (slight sarcasm, but only slight) Sometimes it seems as if we score better if we just skip over the red-zone. More long passes, soften up the secondary for longer runs. We have a QB that can make that redzone fade route but not sure we have the WRs tall enough to stretch it or quick enough to get behind.

I see a high scoring game and a close one. Defense didn't wow me last week. Me and the gang stayed the night in Sacramento so we'll be there in a few hours to watch it in person. I'm predicting 41-35 Toledo
