It's really a testament to how our RB's are trained at Toledo. Catching the ball and blocking are a big part of playing the position here. Kareem was well prepared to display his talent tonight.

Just think fans could have watched Kareem in the Glass Bowl for about $100 a season. Now about $100 a game in KC.

A few seasons with those kind of numbers and. HOF is a lock. I did hear some posh-pop hers saying "One game, no one game planned for him, blah, blah" which is true but take away a hundred yes from scrimmage and it's still a pretty good night.

I'm a browns fan (they haven't earned the upper-case "B" yet). That means that watching Kareem last night was the most fun I've had watching an NFL game in quite a while. Hope he continues to succeed from here on out.

Good recruiting material to offset the downside of weeknight games.

I'm just glad he is in the NFL and that your OC didnt give it to him everytime you played NIU.

RE: Kareem Hunt
And Reid was smart enough to make a trade to move up in the draft so he could get Hunt.

He looks more like he is at the same size and weight as his sophomore and senior years. Hope he stays injury free because he does take on a lot of contact.

We also know what he did for us - my keeping his commitment to us after Ohio State came sniffing around after he made his verbal to Toledo. Just think, if he had gone to OSU, he would likely have sat behind Elliot and may have never got his shot at the NFL. There are a lot of guys in high school that should understand that the offers from the mega college programs may not be the right situation for them.

Googled his name for articles. My favorite headline? "Five backs who could become the next Kareem Hunt". Already a legend!

echoing many other sentiments... Watched several interviews, and what a good guy he is. Just like he was in college. Humble, respectful, giving credit to teammates. Is he really an NFL starter? I love it, what good kid, so happy for him.

Well, don't rest too easy because Swanson was never that far behind Hunt. Not far at all.

I don't mean that as a flame, or even a boast, it's just a fact. Our running game didn't really drop off when Swanson went in.
