#9 - App State

POSITIVES: Three starters return, including top two scorers Ronshad Shabazz and Griffin Kinney and leading rebounder Isaac Johnson. So, the pieces are there for a move up the ladder. They have good size, with 7-1, 6-9 and three 6-8s on the roster. Griffin Kinney and Isaac Johnson are a solid pair inside around which this team can build. They make their shots and hit the boards.

NEGATIVES: This team's defense was on the porous side last season. They need to shore up the D. They will have to replace some talent on the perimeter, where they lost their assists leader and their best 3-point shooter.

App State has some tools to move further up the ladder, but they are going to have to find some guards quickly.
