CAA Weekly Recap
Hey Guys, check out this recap I wrote for the AGS Wedge on Week 1 CAA action.

http://thefcswedge.com/caa/caa-week-1-re...-rankings/

Nothing groundbreaking for my first try, but hope you'll enjoy.

Well done...but you cropped your profile photo too tight.

Actually, do you have the full version of that pic?

Emailing it to you now

eta: nevermind, thought I had your email but I don't.

Attaching.

eta2: okay the version I have is already cropped without you - maybe email Cathy Kushner?

I thought it was just going to say "Dukes crush, spatters suck".

Great job, and Satchmo should be honored to be mentioned in such a quality article. Also, you actually called W&M the "fighting eiberts." Awesome.

I honestly think Maine has a better team right now than Richmond. Their defense looked TERRIBLE and even their offense couldn't impose it's will on Soft Houston. I honestly think Maine will finish better than UNH this season as well, but it's a weekly power rankings not a year end prediction.

RE: CAA Week 1 Recap
I don't know where else to put this so I guess this thread seems appropriate.

UNH's game at Georgia Southern has been moved to 4pm ET in Birmingham, AL at Legion Field. That's the home field of the UAB Blazers.

Perhaps the neutral field gives UNH's a better chance of an upset?

RE: CAA Week 1 Recap
Spiders’ QB Kyle Lauletta came back down to earth somewhat, going 25 for 38 with 306 yards and an INT.
QB Bryan Schor threw 25 for 33 for 304 yards and 5 TDs, showing he is well-placed in the group of elite FCS quarterbacks.

PURPLE BIAS!!

j/k, well done. I know that takes a lot of time and it's a good read.

I'm not used to Dirty being all serious. I was wondering where all the Spatters, Nerds, UDuh and Villanofun went.

I mean 5 is still greater than 1, right? Also Lauletta had like 600 yards last week.

I'm 100% serious when I say this: I still haven't accidentally typed Spatters before correcting it to Spiders. Also the editor had to change "Soft Houston" to Sam Houston for me. I didn't notice.

How do you write about a Rocco coached team and not point out that he still has something up his bum?

I HONESTLY THOUGHT ABOUT IT!

Nice job! Thanks for keeping us informed about how the other teams that the Dukes will defeat later in the season are doing!

I think we're in for a test against Maine in two weeks - not only do they have a bye and 2 weeks to prepare for us (thanks again, CAA), but I think they're top 4 in the conference. Also they played us close last year.

Maine looks pretty good so far. They do tend to play us close. I just don't see the Dukes losing, at all, this season.

Maine lost their game against UNH despite having several moments to win it. Please don't let their drubbing of a bad cupcake Bryant team impress you somehow.

As long as Maine doesn't go for a 2pt conversion down by 1, we're good.
