Norvell ruled Jackson Dillon out for this week's game against UCF while Genard Avery and Doroland Dorceus will continue to be evaluated. Avery left halfway through last week's game with an undisclosed injury. Dorceus was limited to two carries.

Avery and Dorceus are listed on the depth chart. Shareef White has stepped into Jackson Dillon's slot at the KAT spot, and JJ Russell is slotted into Porter's role at second string WILL linebacker.

O'Bryan Goodson will start in place of Gentry at the Nose Tackle spot. John Tate will be second string in place of him. Both played well against UL-M.

Not worried at LB. we got good depth at the moment. Sucks losing Gentry though. Our 2 freshman and red shirt freshman DT's will grow up this season

What in the world could have possibly contributed to so many injuries to healthy, athletically fit young men in one game? I just don't understand how this happened.

Excellent points on the R/S and true freshmen now stepping into extended playing roles.

The defensive depth is a bit less, regardless.

Unless the weather sucks I expect UCF to test the 45-50 point mark

I am hoping this lights a bigger fire in our young players. Definitely not expecting much the first few games but hope the game slows down and they start adjusting and performing

It is a significant blow losing Jackson Dillon. The Tigers will apply for a medical hardship to allow another year of eligibility.
