That we do. However, after only two weeks of play, and with all possible objectivity -- after the next two games, as of now I do not see a single game on the schedule that the Monarchs are not truly capable of winning. This can be a really good season if the offense gets on track.
I am going to disagree. We've played an independent team and a FCS team & we haven't looked great doing it
Has any Conference USA team looked good yet? (Note: my hotel in Springfield last night did not get Baylor-UTSA so I have no opinion on them beyond seeing the score)

They looked good. I have watched the entire game and other than a handful of execution lapses they held their own against Baylor. The lone Baylor TD came on a very good field position handed to Baylor due to stupid penalties and a bad punt. Other than that Sturm looked good and that Tauaefa kid looked very good too. They are gonna compete for the west this year unless a couple of teams in the west suddenly become good.

I think you will have a really good opportunity to win when you play Georgia Southern in Oct. They are really struggling this year and the new coach seems to be clueless.
Good Luck the rest of the year.

Well, La Tech's 3rd and 93 play was unique.

I had mixed emotions about that one. Some sorry posters in the main cusa forum makes me root against LT and happy to see plays like this, but at the same time, to have a top tier team in our conference get embarrassed this badly isn't exactly a great look for the conference as a whole.

Watch out for Miss St. this year. That QB is very good.

Not worth a new threads. Watching UMASS vs Temple man UMASS self destructs. Field goal kicker already missed 2 by a mile. Injuries, cramps who knows. May be one of the least conditioned teams in America

UMASS didnt look that bad last night. May have won the game if the kicker wasnt so bad. Could probably argue they were the better team outside of kicker.

Gotta agree. He missed three field goals. They lost by eight points. By the way, Ford threw for 377 yards last night. Not saying UMass is a good team, but I would wager that they are the best 0-4 team in the nation. (Yeah, I know. Right now they are probably the only 0-4 team in the nation, but you know what I mean.)

Our game vs. UMass last year took almost 4 hours because they kept cramping up.
