5 AAC programs ranked higher without you 80% subsidy. Enjoy the new subsidy limit law coming in VA.

Your bias is showing. Grambling went 12-1 last year, and was a top 5 FCS team this year in pre-season polls.

We handled them just like we handled #2 SeLA in 2014.

No they weren't. They were 21st in both the STATS and Coaches Poll....

Oh #21.... excuse me.

Big difference between Top 5 and 21st. SELA definitely was not #2 in 2014 either. They're in the 12-15 range iirc to start the year. SHSU was the highest ranked Southland team entering the year.

#3 when we played them. And we were terrible that year. Still beat them handedly.

Which is beside the point. We schedule tough FCS teams. What are you even arguing about? Nitpicking where a team was ranked is just being contrarian. The best FCS is still just a bad FBS team. The talent gap is too wide. Losses to FCS teams are inexcusable, and the sign of a program in serious trouble.

Losing to FCS teams does not mean your program is in serious trouble. Washington State lost to FCS teams in 2015 and 2016 and had solid years. Iowa lost to NDSU last year and had solid year. Likewise with K-State in 2013. Northwestern lost to Illinois State last year. When you lose to elite FCS teams you simply lost to a Top 50 D1 football team. Those 4 FBS programs are superior to Tulane (and Temple for that matter).

Tulane would lose to NDSU and JMU. Likewise with Temple this year imo. Youngstown State took Pitt to OT. The MVFC and CAA are really good leagues. Far better than the SWAC or Southland.

That SELA team was good but not nearly at the level of NDSU and Illinois State that year.

Reading your posts I can tell you really don't follow FCS or have much historical knowledge regarding the subdivision. Which is fine...

Curtis Johnson would lose rather badly to JMU and NDSU. I think Fritz would scrape by.
