Attendance
Wow! I was shocked at how many people were there. I seriously thought we would be lucky for 15k.

22,104

Student section was packed! Even halfway through the 3rd it was still packed except for the corner.

Heard tons of radio ads, and seemed like a lot of outlets were giving away free tickets. I know the buzz around town has been growing tremendously, but i didnt think there was any way we would overcome Thursday-Elon-OhioState.

Win against Nevada and a sellout for Tulsa?????

RE: Attendance
It was a generous 22,000. Someone said they sold 22,000 before the game. I do think a convincing win next sat against Nevada puts us close to a sell out.

I suspect that 22,000 was the tickets sold, not butts in the stands. Very nice student turnout but far from packed stands outside of the student section. At the time I guessed about 18,000 in the stands but need to put in a disclaimer that I don't estimate crowds for a living so I could be wrong.

I was stunned when they said 22k. Butts in seats more like 17,000.

RE: Attendance
Like an idiot, I thought the game was at 8pm - so I got there about midway through the 1st qtr.

Walk up ticket prices for general admission were $31. To see them play Elon.

The guy selling tickets was annoying. He asked me where I wanted to sit. I said I don't care I just want to get in the game before I miss more of it. Then he sits there and starts hunting for tickets on the screen he is looking at. He then gives me three options and shows them to me on a stadium map. I said again, I don't care - just give me one at any of those three areas. So he asks me which side I want to sit on? I don't care. Do you want the end or closer to the middle but up higher. I don't care. How about next to the student section. Yes fine - just give me one as fast as possible. 2 more minutes and I finally get a ticket. Then I get to the gate and I basically have to shove it in someone's hand so they take it. No one seemed interested in seeing if I am entering with a ticket or not....

Good crowd, home side pretty packed, student area packed, id say close to 22,000. We will sell out Tulsa after beating Nevada like a drum.
