It was reported on another forum that Smith had passed his current course(s) and has regained eligilibility. The truth is he was not in school this year, but on a year's academic suspension. He will be allowed to return to school in the fall. According to friends in Slidell, he is not sure what he will do. He is weighing his options.

With only one year of eligibility left I'm wondering what options there are for him to be weighing. Either he enrolls in Tulane to play his final year and hopefully get his degree, or he can transfer to another school that is easier than Tulane and forget about football, or he can start working on his wrist movement for burger flipping.
I hope he gets it in gear and suits up for the Wave next season (and gets his degree).

I think the CFL has entered into his considerations.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that Tristan is NOT in school and NOT a member of the football team any longer. I wish him well but his playing days are finished...at TU anyway. :bang:
