One difficulty Tulane has in scheduling is not being able to use the Superdome on what is customarily the last weekend of the season. The dome is reserved for the Bayou Classic on that date, relagating Tulane to Tad Gormley. The limited confines of Gormley eliminates many schools from consideration that would bring a larger following. Consequently, Tulane will play an in-state school at Gormley to close out the 2005 season.

So are they going to have two games at Gormley next year (the one you post about and HC)?

The Gormley game is the HC game, not the last game, but it will be against an in-state 1AA school.

Thanks. I like the Gormley HC game but one game per season there is enough for me.

I'm not sure about that. Tulane is still left with a scheduling date the last game of the season where they either must travel to an opponents home field or play in Gormley. Also, there is a need for Tulane to play two games at Gomley at this time.

That's only true if we're playing HC in late November. We play Miss St in September and Navy in November, our other OOC game is more than likely in October which is typically when teams play their HC game. The remainder of the home schedule will be conference games.
