The only way that could have happened was because he never signed for Cuse. Still not clear if he is going to end up at SHU or not.

It is my understanding that immediate eligibility is only available for graduate transfers or in cases of significant changes ("extraordinary circumstances" approved by the NCAA) at the school from which the student is transferring. http://www.ncaa.org/student-athletes/cur...sfer-terms
