Carolina fans help needed!
Hey guys, I have decided to make my first trip to Kenan for our game Sep 9. Any suggestions on the best seats for a first time visitor? Seats to avoid? I can get Section 103 in rows A-C but someone said the first few rows can be tough to see. Any help is much appreciated.

try to get double letter rows (AA,BB etc)
It's hard to see from the lower rows.
All of the seats in the upper deck are good (even the end sections).
North side seats (visitors side) are in the sun

Thanks so much. It shows the Louisville section including 102-109 but just at the bottom. Do you know typically what rows those encompass? I'm leaning toward 102 row DD or like 109 CC.

109 over 102
Upper deck rows start with A
200, 231, 219, 212 are all great seats

Where do you intend to park?

There is a ton of construction off campus on Franklin and Rosemary streets.

You need to make a plan for that

Hey pack, staying in east Durham. We may be meeting a tailgate group at stadium, but if not, planned on taking an Uber most likely. Any suggestions on how to navigate down there?

Is the Tar Heel Express a good option if we don't plan on a long tailgate and just need a ride to the stadium?

Not much room for tailgating in Chapel Hill. You can park (pay) in the hospital deck. It's about a 15 minute walk to the stadium. People do tailgate some but it is a deck and I don't think they allow grills.

Tarheel express is a good option. I think it is $5 round trip and they deliver/pick up at the gate.

Here is all the parking information you will need.
https://move.unc.edu/events/football/
I would recommend the Jackson Deck or if you want open air the Hibbard Lot (must be pre-paid before the game). Both are in the same general area and are short walk to the stadium (by Chapel Hill Standards).

Tar Heel Express is a good option.

A word of caution:
If you are drinking alcohol on campus or in the town of Chapel Hill.....put it in a cup. DO NOT display any open bottles or cans (even at your tailgate).

That's an understatement.

Chapel Hill is the absolute worst tailgating experience I've ever experienced and I tailgated beside a stack of pallets behind a warehouse at Williams-Brice one time.

U of L, can you be more specific than "East" Durham. If you are from out of NC, that's often sold as the RDU airport. If you are from the Triangle, East Durham is East of the old Duke Campus. Parts of "East" Durham can be a little sketchy.

I probably(hopefully misspoke). We booked an Airbnb described as downtown Durham just a short walk from Durham Central Park. It's near West Trinity Ave.

That would put you near the old Durham Bulls Athletic Park, the Carolina Theater and the NC School of Science and Math. Just don't east of Mangum Street and you will be okay.

Thanks. All the reviews seemed to indicate it was in a pretty good area. Any suggestions on restaurants or bars out that way?
