How's everyone feel about their games this week? I'll have some thoughts on Boise a little later tonight. Let's hear your optimisms and concerns.

Our defense should take a step forward this year, and I want to see it Thursday. I also want to see how our 3 new offensive linemen work together. Overall, we don't have a good excuse if we don't stomp Sac State.

Oh, and I want to see how much we're going to miss Rehkow in the kicking game. My guess is -- a lot.

Astate has a tough tune-up (LOL) with Nebraska to sort out a new O-line. If they have a hard time communicating and working together it could be a really long day. Hopefully they can keep it simple and keep the game respectable. If the O-line surprises, then I think we could hang till the 4th qtr.

Everything will go the way we all know it will go.

Essentially we've got 3 weeks to get the offensive line and safeties the experience they need to compete at this level. Then we go to SMU and the real season begins.

Like it or not, Miami beats us regardless if we showed up with the best team in school history, and we could probably field our entire redshirt class and beat UAPB. There's some wiggle room with Nebraska, but its game 1, so no experience heading in.

It's all about getting ready for week 4.

This entire game revolves around the interior of our DL. If we can't slow down their run game OR get pressure on the QB then they will score 50+ points.

BUT, like every game GS plays. I expect us to win. Our offense is going to be a LOT better than most people are anticipating.

HBU is closed right now and sounds like it's flooded to hell and back.

Who knows if they'll even be able to play Saturday at this point.

TXST will have 21 freshmen on the 2 deep charts(including STs). 6 starters.

Whoa...And I thought our 10 was a lot (13 spots if you count three guys in more than one spot. That's also going three deep. Two deep has 6 I think.

It's actually 4 sophomores and 6 freshman. They had one listed incorrectly.

4 sophomores, 2 redshirt freshman, and 4 true freshman in the two deep.

Besides everything I said about the Idaho game, I want to see Troy win in a massive, ridiculous blowout.
