It's not November yet.

A trillion tons of water. Mind boggles.
I think I'm going to miss not going to games I paid for but price overcame demand or more accurately, they passed each other due to circumstance. Shame too, I think it's going to be that special year. Maybe missing it will be the good luck the team needs! Seriously it will be disappointing if any game hosts less than 20,000, regardless what azzinine time of weeknight against what azzinine why do we expect people to pay to see this visitor.
Hopefully I can pick up a bone or two through the season. Generally end up walking than sitting in the section whole game anyhow.

That estimate is close to what I heard this morning. I heard it will end up being about 20 trillion gallons (15 trillion already and 5 trillion to go as of the end of yesterday). That equates to 160 trillion pounds or .8 trillion tons of water. For comparison, Katrina was 6.5 trillion gallons.
To keep it in perspective to levels of water, it is literally a drop in the bucket when you compare it to the total number of gallons of water in Lake Erie. Total gallons of water in Lake Erie = 1,277,295,890, 000,000,000,000,000 gallons
The trillions start before the "890" number that shows up above.
The difference is - that water is not supposed to be on the ground in the Houston/La. area

I think less that it's on the ground that boggles but that it was once in the AIR! Nature amazes.

Man did it get chilly once the sun went down. I had to run back home and put on long sleeves and grab some gloves. My fingers were numb! I did not expect such a big drop.

Looking ahead to Saturday's weather in Reno. Weather Channel site says a high of 83 with a 20% chance of rain. Better than today's forecast (the 3rd) - a high of 99. But that's OK; 24% humidity, so it's a dry heat.

It was also pretty windy - and it was from the North. I wore shorts and a short sleeve shirt but had a jacket as well. Good thing. I wasn't cold, but it was getting a little uncomfortable at the end of the game - so I got up and walked around and watched the last quarter while walking around the deck on the visitor's side. I think it was 54 degrees by the time I got back to my car around 10pm.
Are they ever going to get the highways done in Toledo? Coming down from the North and getting off 475 at Douglas, the traffic back-up going the other direction was at least 5 miles long - and essentially at a dead stop. So I took Secor all the way up to Alexis when going home. That traffic may still have been backed up 3 hours later. Didn't want to find out.
Is this the third or 4th year of that construction on 475? What the hell is taking so long? A promise of career employment for the construction crews?

I don't know if the construction planning could've been better, but I do know it couldn't have been done any worse. Right now the problem is that there were a bunch of entrance and exit ramps on the left side and they switched them to the right side. Google maps hasn't updated so anyone using a Garmin or e-map gets in the wrong lane, tries to make a quick switch and ends up causing an accident.
