Rumors are Evans going to get the nod to start this game but both will play till they figure out who will be the official starter. Evans lit it up during camp big time but will have to prove he can be consistent in the game.

Well they're a good G5. We'll see what happens. Been worse spread and won.

Going into week one, with new skill players, point spreads are a complete guess.

ULM is the team that will jump up and bite someone, that is their history.

We have definitely proved that. I hope they take us lightly, as we are way improved. Not saying we will win, but it wouldn't surprise me.

My prediction is UM - 42 ULM-28. Closer than that at the half. I think we can beat USM at home though.

AAC isn't necessarily known for blowing teams out in OOC play. They always seem to put up a few stinkers.

Seems like a typical Bash ULM without actually bashing them. I get it but we'll do what we can. We're always We sometimes knockoff someone of play them close. Been doing it for a little while now. Regardless we're the last SBC team to beat a top 10 team.

I've got it 31-17 Memphis...so our predictions aren't that far off.

Memphis' next game is @UCF so I suspect we'll go conservative against ULM and try not to 'tip our hand' to UCF and their coaches.

I think ULM will keep it close for three quarters, with Memphis pulling away in the fourth once ULM's starters run out of gas. ULM is still another year of decent recruiting away from having some quality depth. I see 17-14 Memphis at the end of the 3rd qtr, and a final score of 31-17 Memphis.

Those are all reasonable predictions in my book. I definitely like our chances better playing them first game of the year. We need to run the ball and control the clock, which I think we have the OL and horses in the backfield to do, starting with Alabama transfer RB Derrick Gore.
