Correction—Miami didn’t get an at-large bid. Their best golfer Patrick Flavin did and is participating as an individual in Columbus. That makes a lot more sense. Them getting a team invite just didn’t add up.

Hopefully the men can duplicate the women and advance to the finals. The way we have been playing of late has me very skeptical. We have the talent, just haven't been clicking lately. Crossing my fingers.

Kent St finished their round at 8 under and are in third place. UCF is at minus 9 but still has 6 holes to play so we could move up. Florida leads at
-12. Currently have only a 3 stroke cushion over the last qualifying spot. Nice round but still a lot of work to do.

Well UCF actually played those last 6 holes in three under and ended up at minus 12 and tied with Florida for first.

Lots of work left to do. One bad round is likely to be enough to get you on the wrong side of the cut line. Need to be solid every day. We have 1 golfer that cannot avoid bogeys right now. Hopefully, he eats well and gets some sleep tonight!

It’s a clean slate each round. Today we got away with one guy having a bad round which gives us zero cushion but with two guys being solid and Johnson and Holt having exceptional days, our four scores were good. A bit of balance at the bottom near par would be perfect.

Heavy rains forecast starting at noon today and even more on Wednesday and Thursday. This could tak a while.

This is going to be a close finish tomorrow if things play out like they did today.

It’s good to have 5 shots in hand to start the last round, but whoever finishes top five will have to earn it. We did gain ground on the next three teams below us.

I noticed one of the 3 teams tied for fifth, Colorado St., played even par Monday and 11 under today. Better watch out for them tomorrow.

Shotgun start today. I assume to try and beat the rain. After two holes our cushion dropped from 5 to 4.

Our 5 stroke cushion has turned into a 4 stroke deficit. After 9 holes we are plus three and the four teams above us (2nd through 5th) are all -6 to -8. Not looking very good. It’s pretty much now or never.

We are sitting in 5th place but it's dicey with 5-6 holes left.

You can stick a fork in us. Playing conservative today killed us. Everyone else is -10 or better and we are -3.

Three shots clear with one hole to go.

Now one shot clear. Briefly moved up to 4th place, but it’s still tight. Four teams within a couple of shots for the last two places.

What's a shotgun start?

Stuff happens fast. Colorado St 2-man double bogeys the next to last hole to knocked them out.

We are two clear again.

Players start on different holes throughout the course instead of all starting on #1 or#10. It speeds up the overall round by 45 min to an hour because nobody has to wait to tee off.
