That's what you call an uptick not skewed. Everyone has better attendance when you win. But with winning at our level comes a lot harder to schedule. It is looking more and more likely that Dan will have to schedule a DII this year in the regular season. He has had 6 P5 schools turn us down for a one and done at their place and had 3 mid majors turn down a H/H starting at their place this year. Its looking more and more like no one wants to play against the D'Antoni style of basketball.
It certainly helps that D'Antoni teams play an exciting brand of hoops, as well. What basketball fan wouldn't want to watch that ? I enjoyed the hell out of watching the Herd in The 'Ham-- until it got too close for comfort, that is
Even though Middle has had the best of us the last few years I love watching when Marshall and Middle are on the floor at the same time, same goes for WKU, UAB and LA Tech.
If you like the way Dan runs then if you are a recruiting and practice junkie then you would probably enjoy watching Dan run a practice. There is no yelling or cussing. He doesn't get upset at anything. And he will run the same play over and over until everyone on the court understands the play and why its run.
It doesn't take the 4 and 5 star players to run his system. All it takes is good perimeter shooters that can pass the ball. And hopefully someone down low that can bang for a rebound. Its what Dan calls an athletic ball. If you are able to pass well and have the ball move from side to side within the allowed shot clock then you should be able to find the open shooter.
We gave the Cincy game away last year, there is no way we should have lost that game except for the fact that this team had not yet learn to put games away. And if we had not started so cold in the Pitt game, there is another game that would have been won. The Herd scored 68 points in the 2nd half of the Pitt game

Why are we discussing this with barely a week until kick-off? Basketball season will be upon us soon enough. Let's enjoy some gridiron action!!!

There's a Louisiana Tech? I thought it was LA Tech, like y'know, Los Angeles Tech. You guys are in Louisiana?? We're missing out on the LA market, after all these years? It all makes sense now why our TV deals are such crap!
