Seriously, you all are missing the point. They were Trump supporters. CNN got exactly what they were looking for.

If they wanted someone who would "turn" on the President, they would have done pre-interviews and found some. I suspect they did such interviews anyway. They looked for supporters. They put on the screen they were supporters. Think it's pretty obvious they wanted supporters and the views of supporters.

They put plenty of Republicans on who don't like or agree with Trump and will talk him down. Guess what. CNN knows they're going to.

I get what you are saying and agree; however, IMO, I bet CNN was probably still pandering to the left in hoping it's normal audience would be aghast at the Trump supporters opinions, etc. I mean the interviewer did push them to come up with SOME reason to be pissed at Trump. Luckily the supporters came off as level headed, which, IMO, is probably not what CNN wanted.

Trump looks perfectly sane and competent compared to the Democratic politicians. He even looks polite and uses proper language in comparison. He is clearly sane compared to all those afflicted with TDS.
