Dem Success Under Trump?
http://freebeacon.com/politics/pelosi-de...publicans/

'Ol Nancy is beating the war drum with chants of success. For starters, I always find it comical how "successful" Congress sees itself when they've had a less than 20% approval rating for the majority of my life and I'm in my late 30s.

However, since the Nov election, the Dems have been able to stave off a lot of Trump's agenda including Obamacare repeal and replace that many GOP campaigned on and have been unsuccessful at passing.

Which ever GOP member you blame (Lord knows there's plenty qualified), they haven't been accomplishing much.

Is Pelosi actually making sense for once?

I think the next mid-term election could be another pendulum shift.

The Dem's haven't been able to stave off the Trump agenda, wishy-washy GOP senators have.

Guys like McCain who ran on repealing Obamacare but then refused to do it when push came to shove.

Maybe he didn't want to repeal without a suitable replacement? You know... common sense stuff.

Typical non-common sense. It was not an instant clean slate. It would have been a phased out with plenty of time for some common sense replacement.

You lost the election and the bet. Be a man of honor, get TF out of here, and find somewhere else to go. SAD

Truthfully, how many Democrats that passed Obamacare, even today actually read what was in there before and after Nancy Pelosi and Dirty Harry told Them to pass it before reading it? Maybe 2 - 3 ? Supreme court only passed it because They said it was a Tax increase. So Everyone got stiffed with an Obama infused Tax increase and cut medical benefits.

So we're in such a rush to repeal it because of how terrible it is but not in such a rush that we can slowly phase out of it? And phase into what.... a mysterious non-existent alternative? Or phase into a ****** alternative that will also have to eventually be repealed? At what expense.

The whole thing is nonsensical from the getgo.

Regardless of who's fault it is, it enables Nancy to call it a Dem victory. That's my real point here. Doesn't matter who, why, etc. All that matters is it didn't happen and that's what she'll sell to CNN and all the other lib peddlers. Doesn't matter how many elections they lose, when they have cronies at the top of the gov't serving themselves and not the people.

Time to start primarying their cronies then. Send Republicans with enough balls to get the job done to Washington.

I feel like that was done recently in midterms by the Tea Party. Now it seems as if most of them have turned into cronies themselves or honored their "one term" pledge.

That brings me to another point. Congress needs term limits. Badly. Nearly every piece of bad legislation you can follow back to the Senators and Representatives creating deals for themselves or companies they have interests in. And then they pile on and pile on. McCain, Pelosi, Reid, McConnell, etc are all prime examples of people that have been there far too long and are doing nothing for the good of the people. They've built up their political alliances so powerful that your everyday primary opponents can't touch them.

He ended the process instead of allowing it to continue in conference committee
