So according to posts #15 through #20, there are no additional new football facility additions needed beyond those already in place or scheduled. Are we already so complete?

They're not going to build an on campus stadium, so what exactly more could they build?

And everyone else is right, basketball needs some upgrades for sure. Football is not the only sport at UAB.

Post #16 and #20 mentioned the third football field.

Aside from that, I think it's common knowledge and has been mentioned several times by administration that we want to move forward with the city on an open air stadium as part of the BJCC complex.

My question was about building new facilities for football because that is what just opened or has already been scheduled (new grass field). So the answer seems to be YES, We have all that we will ever need already in place or scheduled.

I did not intend to ask about the needs of all other UAB sports.

The Ray Watts outhouse is still missing. Players shouldn't have to walk all the way inside when they need to take a Ray Watts.

Besides the 3rd practice field and the stadium at Uptown, what other football specific facility additions do you think are needed? It won't be football-only, but if Coach Clark can pull off the sports medicine facility it will be a big benefit to football and all other sports.

The soccer field needs restrooms. Shouldn't require a SCOTUS ruling to get them.

I'm not sure I understand your sentiment here...

Just because the next step hasn't been publicized, doesn't mean the Athletic Department is saying that Football has all it will ever need.

I mean, is the paint even dry yet?

That's part of phase II of the soccer field project.

You obviously have something else in mind so why don't you enlighten us?

The team hasn't even played it's first game after reinstatement, maybe we should take it easy with spending money that doesn't exist.
