I don't think we're on the same internet. For the record, I like craft beer. Cheap, watery beer certainly has it's place though, particularly in a thread about drinking during tailgates outside in the hot sun in the south.

You craft beer drinkers should enjoy whichever brand or brands you enjoy -- without the constant snide comments. In the end, we are enjoying a constitutionally-guarded amendment, which we should all toast (as long as our bodies and habits allow it, of course).
Craft doesn't necessarily equal more stout, more alcohol.
And to be clear I drink plenty of Budweiser, Coors Banquet, PBR, et al. Keep any of their light counterparts away from me, but I don't judge anyone for what they drink.

The majority of high gravity beer still checks in at lower ABV than most white wine.

Hamm's is Okay, but it's just relabeled Miller beer if I remember right ever since they closed Hamm's brewery in the late 90s...Miller just has a license to use the name, logo, and recipe.
Kroger by my sells a case for 14.99 so I get it often.

Terrapin Rec Ale has been my go-to beer for the past few years. It's a very mild pale ale. Wife Beater or PBR if I just want a regular beer. I like almost anything that isn't light though.

I've definitely seen Hamm's up here Boone at Harris Teeter at least. But I'd have to go with Miller High Life or PBR for a tailgating beer.
I love craft beer a lot, but traditional american lagers seem to fit the bill the most.

PBR is headache city for me the next day if I overdo it.
For a 6pm game I usually have about 4 solo cups of vodka/Gatorade and about 12-15 miller lites before game time. Come to think of it, that's headache city also so PBR is probably fine....
Either way, Sundays usually aren't fun for me during football season.

For old school, I like to run over to JC, TN and get some SCHLITZ at Libation Station. The good ole 1960s Schlitz formula, not the crap they sold in the 70s and 80s.
