^ Alright, 300 miles between Yager Stadium to Ryan Field then. It's 160 from Huntington to Oxford.

He did you a favor. That last third were fans disguised as empty seats. He made it look better than it was. And you have one moderately successful season and you're gonna talk smack??? 03-lmfao Ok, Chief.

They gave us hell last season, all I'm gonna say

Yeah, they're actually pretty good, which is why we're placing so much emphasis on this game. It will be a good indicator of where we are after last year's debacle. But it doesn't change the fact that they have FIU like support, haven't done **** in two decades, and are a bunch of spoiled, brie-eating rich kids.

The Western game should have and could have went like most Western games last year....25+ point win over by the half.

Western was down to 3rd string rb and without 3 defensive starters in this game. It still wasn't as close as the score. Western turnovers and a score that was called wrong at the half. Replay only had one angle but the scoreboard had 3 different views. Big pile on the replay view but clear view of the ball two foot in the endzone on the scoreboard replays.

Also Western tipped two hailmerry type passes and when I say tip I mean flubs that 98% of the time are INTs that should have been sure INTs into the hands of Miami players for 2 of their scores.

I think Marshall wins this game if your pass defense has improved since last year

Sadly, I don't know what's improved or not until we play this game. It is what it is, but I won't predict any quality of our team from practicing against each other. There will be no "fool me twice."

^^^^ Exacty what MUther said. Last I saw, we were favored by 1 point. I would like to think that while watching through kelly green tinted glasses, the Herd runs roughshod over the Hawks. My pessimistic side keeps repeating, "Akron..Akron...Akron...Akron".

My realistic side says its gonna be a dogfight.

Key to the game will be the lines - Miami's O-line will be the best since winning the MAC in 2010, perhaps one of the top three since Big Ben played at Miami (admittedly not a difficult competition). Our D-line is losing two NFL players and on paper is the weak point of our defense. We return all skill players besides our second receiver with a lot of height coming back at wideout, so your secondary may have some problems if they're short.

Guns, I think our question mark is on offense and special teams.. specifically fg kicking. Our secondary is young but out starting corners are back. We'll see..

I look for our defense to do its part again this year.. it'll be up to the offense to sustain drives and not wear our defense out by halftime

Unfortunately it isn't exactly seamless to get from Tampa to Huntington...
