Temple at ND is well anticipated, and not just because it's against the Irish. New coaching staff and QB will be sorely tested. Our OL, RBs, WRs and Defense are experienced and good enough to stay in this one, can our new coaches and QB slow the game enough to stay competitive and steal a win? That would be a major boost for the Owls and the American.

RE: American vs Power teams
these are some big opportunities and also, in recent years where the AAC has excelled (no thanks to UC under our former clown head coach).

Houston has a good shot in all of their games and I think the same can be said for UCF and USF

I wouldn't hold your breath for UC at Michigan lol

I was thinking BYU at ECU would fit the bill here but I see you have them as a nonpower Indy.

Just need to win somewhere near 1/2 of them. 7-10 or better and we are fine.

We will win one of these. We do better against P5 than the AAC.

I suppose it all depends on how the MWC does against BYU before the board decides... every year I do a "cartel vs non cartel" running tab. I included P5/ND/BYU and it was accepted until BYU started losing to MWC teams. Then I got a bunch of messages telling me to take BYU off the list. Before a single game is played I'd like to ask if BYU should be counted? They play 6 games vs the MWC and 1 game vs the AAC (ECU)

Can't count BYU. They don't get the big dollars. Good program, though.

Needs to be 50% or better. Pushing to be the #6 is fine, but I'd like to see some stats showing how we've outplayed the #5 over the next few years.

No we don't. We've got a ~33% record vs P5.

Since our time in the AAC......I thought that was easily inferred by comparing records.

Here is the thing, no one asked about your crap conference. I understand there is no one on your board, but at least have the decency to start a seperate thread. Call it fanhoods emotional outbursts, or mwc season of futility, etc.
