I saw that today and was like WTF... was the news and rumors earlier in the week a calculated move then?

I mean Bortles has gotten eaten alive earlier in his career.... but its kind of late to improve the OL to keep him upright with the season opener in a few weeks ..... maybe it is that keep him healthy so we can trade him move.

I never understood the Bortles hype. He LOOKED the part, height/weight/arm strength-wise. But he's a lot like Jared Goff. He didn't do anything in college to warrant the draft pick... he just lucked out and was in the draft in a down year for QB's.
