The police have the power to make determinations on a lot of things. I've seen it happen.

If they can decide whether or not to shoot you then they can certainly decide whether or not to act on a complaint and take your guns.

Judicial process with an appeal process. I would like to see it to where if the person filing the claim loses they are responsible for all legal costs you have fighting for your rights to discourage leftist activists from filing frivolous claims.
