113 again for me. We've been there since the Ted opened, so it feels right...

Moved from 113 to 112. Excited to be seated with the swells. And Smitty!

Got my same seats, had them since the Ted opened.

There isn't a bad seat in the house unless you sit directly behind the hoop in the first 10 rows. You'll be just fine :)

Moved from 111 to 103. A couple rows higher, but on the aisle to accommodate my massive ass.

Good point! I guess I should say I hope the seats I'm eyeing are still available!

Moved from 113 row O to 111 row N. Pretty content.

Section 103 Row N. I think they'll be good.

Forgot to post...105 row L. Down a few rows but not a major improvement.

Does anyone think that we have sold less tixs this year. Seemed to be more seats available this year.

That or the first and second priority selection times for the people with a bunch of tickets opened up enough inventory to allow people to have better seats to pick on their first shot.

I know several donors that cut back on tickets. Most are not happy with the direction of the University and the Basketball program.

We've heard all the problems with the bball program but what issue do these donors have with the direction of the university?

I know nothing officially but a pretty good source told me season ticket sales for MBB were down about 20% from 2 years ago and ODU was really working to get more season tiks sold. At the point I was told this it would have been too late to have any additional tickets sold added into the seat selection process we just went through. I am sure we will get some numbers from Ed M. once we get closer to the start of the season but I bet the numbers will still be down.

I was expecting or at least hoping to get slightly better seats this go around. In the past three years since the last reseating we've upped our donation, bought wrestling and baseball voucher books, had some referral points, heard dire warnings that people were ditching their season tix, and supposedly they cut back the corporate donors first rounds seats (the ones near us rarely had butts in the seats!). We just barely got out same seats!! Sec 105, Row N. Near MonarchManiac it appears. Look me up MM. I'm the one that yells, stands up a lot and gets irritated when Big Blue ignores me when I'm waving my VIC card . That Harris Teeter gift should be mine!!

I agree with Homselr. For all the talk of cratering interest in mbb, I was expecting a much more dramatic improvement in seating.

I'm pleased as can be with my new seats in 103. But there are lots and lots of loyal Monarch fans who will be occupying the many rows in front of me.
