Perhaps this has been posted already, but Rice has added a 13th game to its 2018 football schedule. On August 25, the Owls will host Prairie View A&M. Rice is permitted the extra game because of its September 8 game at Hawaii.

The additional game allows Rice to have more preparation for the September 1 game at home versus Houston.

Good to have another home non-conference game.

08/25 - Prairie View A&M
09/01 - Houston
09/08 - at Hawaii
09/15 - at Wake Forest
11/17 - at LSU

Agreed! PVAM brings energy and fans, something Rice doesn't get from many of its conference mates (or often from its own base, for that matter).

The Marching Storm is worth being there to watch. Last year was at Rice's homecoming game. Maybe a longer time slot for this game since there won't be any large checks to parade?
