I would be curious if we have gone down in that category.
Who on this team is a good candidate to take a 5 yard pass to the house?
Wesley would be my first thought. Fastest guy in the group. Next would be Brown. He has some elusiveness. Tears could be the most dynamic wr, but also the most frustrating. Saffold and Beebe are quick, but not fast and have enough playing time to have shown they're possession type players.
What's the difference in calling a pro athlete trash and a college athlete trash? How does one offend you and the other doesn't? Quit being a hypocrite. College isn't a safe space. I call it like I see it.

I'd like to believe you're smart enough to figure this out.

Graham being the starting QB is obviously less than ideal. We knew the overall talent in the QB room was lacking, and it's kind of proven itself in spring and now again in summer practice. Not that anybody else is saying this but Maddawgz, but from what I saw and what I've heard from people I trust (1981 included), by all accountants Graham has been the best of the bunch, even if it is the tallest midget. The issue isn't Graham being named the starter, the issue is the fact he's the best guy "we" have right now, if that makes sense.
I still have the Toledo, Buffalo, and WMU games on my TiVo at home. Hopefully at some point this weekend I have time to go back through and watch them. After the disaster that was 2017 for Graham, it's easy to forget he played pretty damn well when forced into a really tough position in 2016.
If we've learned anything from the last two years, it's NIU probably won't survive playing 1 QB all year, so we're likely going to see Santa and maybe even Childers at some point too.
Even with the lack of talent at QB, I still don't see why this team can't win 7-8 games.
Should be wins:
EIU
Kent State
Buffalo
Bowling Green
EMU
Ball State
Toss ups:
Boston College
WMU
CMU
Likely losses:
Toledo (this probably could go in the toss up tbh)
Nebraska
SDSU
Take care of business and win 1 of the Toss ups, you're at 7 wins.
I would say the ceiling for this team is 8 wins and the floor is 5 wins.
I recommend you first watch the Toledo game from the Cell. It's Graham in a nut shell. the first half is the Graham you hope for. 15-20, 105yds,2tds,0int, 68 yds rushing. With the defense playing well, he got an early lead and couldmake quick, safe passes and he was very accurate. His ability to hit receivers in stride is his strength an was on display here. He also ran the ball well, for him. But His second half is the Graham we fear. The defense started to falter and he was forced to throw down field and get out of what he does best. 9-23, 122yds, 1td,1int, 29yds rushing. His inability to make big plays is exemplified.
Any idea if it's still on ESPN3? I nuked the recording when I got home that night lol
It appears ESPN no longer has full game replays from 2016 and back on ESPN3 and WatchESPN. I recommend TenYardTracker. It is a torrent site, but a "clean" one. Never had a problem with any downloads from there, although you do have wait for a "peer" to upload after you request a game.

Beebe will be the leading receiver this year. Great hands and knows how to get open.
