Memphis got beat by Bradley. Unfortunately, WSU fans are familiar with Bradley and know how bad - REALLY BAD - they are.

We're gonna SUCK again. I don't get how this coach hasn't been fired. She took a mediocre program and has trashed it. We lost to McNeese State and UT Arlington. Our win was over a SWAC team.

Several people have already explained that term is a carryover from our old Big East days, where all schools that didn't play football were called "basketball only," even by the conference office.

Wichita State was unanimously voted in the AAC they no longer have anything to worry anymore about now.

Well the UCONN girls basketball team has set a high bar for women's athletics in the American. They compete for a NC every year and their fans respond. The Shockers Vb team won't reach those heights but we've been a 15-50 ranked team for a good while (15 years) and hope that Coach Lamb's team continues to play at a high level.

Thats really not a joke. The overall quality of our athletic teams is important to the p6 narative. Presidents and universities prize diversity, the acc is huge in women's bball, the pac in softball. The higher up a team sets the bar the more likely the rest of this conference is to step up to compete. The schools in this conference are scrappy, they tend to have an overlooked history and a chip on their shoulder. It can lead to issues, but it also leads to a deep drive to compete.

If you've never gone to see a VB match, you ought to check it out. The athleticism and hustle that fans appreciate is there. The power of the front-line hitters is incredible.

Understanding everything going on is not an easy task, so just watch the front-line hitters and the blockers on the other side. That's where the action, excitement, and scoring comes from.

You're going to see a young lady around 6'4" displaying a very nice vertical and hitting the ball at about 80 mph. On the other side of the net there will be two young ladies about the same size going up to block the ball back across the net.

You may have watched VB on TV. You will not understand the power and athleticism of the players unless you see it live.

There are 55 D1 beach volleyball programs in the US. I believe Tulane is the only school in the AAC with a team.

Just checking on the Women's Volleyball teams in the American. The Shockers do more than just look good. The Shocker women defeated a very good Marquette team and IUPUI.

They moved up to #23 in the Top 25. Marquette had deafeated a Top 20 ranked Hawaii last week.
