I thought this was a conference message board to talk about the conference and the teams related in the conference? Is it really a bad thing that more WKU fans post topics about us for our conference brethren to know details of the things going on at our school? Hell I would be perfectly fine with any team posting about their school so I can keep up more with what is going on at other schools in the conference (aside from the my little ponies in Murfreesboro of course ).

Maybe the real poll should be...Why don't more fans of CUSA schools post more threads about relevant sports information related to their school on this board?

There is next to nothing that we, as fans, can do on this forum that will make any meaningful difference to the overall success of our chosen teams. These boards are partly to keep ourselves informed, but mostly just to keep ourselves entertained.

The one small place where we as posters might make the tiniest bit of difference is in occasionally getting under the skin of fans from other teams -- enough so that those fans might start paying attention to your team's progress, even if it's only to root against us.

In that regard, WKU is once again leading the conference. Everyone fan of another team who voted for WKU on this poll cares first about the success of their own team. But they care next most about WKU.

Congratulations, Toppers. You win the crown for having far and away the most secondary CUSA fans.

ODU comes in a distant second. (At least we'll always have Dawgxas.)

One individual Tech fan aside, we honestly don't care about that one game from 3 years ago. We've only played once. That's not a rivalry. You might have a better case in basketball since the last two years have seen road teams win in traditionally tough places to do so, but that's still a reach to call it a rivalry.

Our only rivals in C-USA are Southern Miss (who we've played 48 times, vastly more than anyone else here) and UAB hoops because of recent history since we joined.

Screw ODU! This past baseball season they tried starting a fight with our baseball team one game. I think it was the second game in the series the benches cleared and ODU was acting like little girls. We ended up winning the series 2 to 1. It seems like whatever sport we play them in they try to start something. I don't like them and wished we played every year in football so we could beat the snot out of them! Western Kentucky deserves the bragging rights but ODU doesn't that's why I voted for them. If it weren't for Coach Holtz and Coach Wilder being close then I would have no respect for them at all! Just half- kidding ODU:) I wished we played every year then maybe we wouldn't have to listen about a win three years ago. Maybe y'all could actually win the CUSA East this year so we can meet in the championship game.

That might be some of the most epic spin I've seen. You must live up here next to me in Washington. This would be funny if you weren't being serious. Otherwise, it is on the far end of the delusion scale.

I actually don't dislike wku at all. They have a nice campus with a good administration that has a great commitment to fielding a well-rounded athletic department. All good stuff. It's just their small but incredibly annoying, narcissistic, and delusional fan base.

You could change the question to:
Who has the most annoying fans? or
Which fan base is most likely to make excuses for losing? or
Which fan base is the most difficult to deal with?

I could go on, and the results in the poll would all come up with the same team/fan base at the top as this poll has.
