I'm not sure how much the Radio Network coverage even matters in 2017. With Satellite Radio and Streaming, consumers have real choice and are no longer subjected to the will of their local stations.

That being said, the 2017 Media Guide lists 12 markets on 18 stations for GS mostly covering Georgia east of I-75 including northeast Metro Atlanta - probably reaches 6-7 million. We lost the FM affiliate in Savannah for 17, but I expect it to return with GS campus actually being in Savannah beginning in 2018.

As X said, not many stations but there are several million people in that area.

Same boat for us. Does help our University radio station is a 100k watt station right smack dab in the middle of Atlanta.

The 2018 Grady Health System Georgia State Radio Network includes:
WIFN-AM 1340/103.7 – Atlanta, Ga.

WFOM-AM 1230/106.3 - Marietta, Ga.
WRBN-FM 96.3 - Clayton, Ga.
WBAF-AM 1090/104.9 FM - Barnesville, Ga.

Have to say that one thing about the Cajuns "network" is our affiliated radio station is part of a Townsquare Media group of six stations (five FM, one AM) that all broadcast from the same station. Some sports are simulcast on a couple of stations, but the primary daily station is the AM one at ESPN1420.com. The station has local broadcasting shows from 7am to noon, ESPN shows from noon to 3pm, and local shows again from 3pm to 7pm. After that it rolls to ESPN overnight.

We broadcast all games (home/away) for football, men's basketball, baseball, and softball, as well as women's basketball games at home and on the road when part of doubleheaders. With all those games, we've had times in the spring when up to three (and I think once four) games were being broadcast simultaneously on different stations so you have your choice of listening pleasure. All of them are also streamed on the web.
