Kent St and Murray St [FCS] are tanking Louisville's schedule. Jurich is a great AD but sux at making schedules.

Is Louisville still working through schedules booked before they joined the ACC, or were these signed after?

This is part of that transition still.
And I think there is a need for home dates to help bank cash for the expansion of the football stadium. Having said that, fund raising has gone exceedingly well, allowing the opening of the expansion to occur one year ahead of schedule (next fall). But like all big programs, home dates help the athletic budget so home dates are important no matter who you are playing.
I think you will see U of L try to have opening season neutral site games as often as possible (two years ago Auburn in Atlanta, this year Purdue in Indianapolis, next year Alabama in Dallas (I believe it's at Jerry's World), etc.) which only means that there will always be a "pay for" game at home against an outmatched opponent.

I believe this season is the last year of the transition. WKU, IU, Bama & I think Purdue were all booked after joining the ACC. BTW, Bama is in Orlando. A lot of open dates coming up.

I think Jurich schedules just fine. He try's to make sure we have 2 P5's on our schedule every year, with ukant being the obvious one. Sometimes in doing that you draw your "Purdue's" of the world. As long as it's not every year I'm fine.

IMO Louisville SHOULD play Indiana and Purdue (local teams). I'd also like to see WVU on the schedule, along with Missouri, Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa and Iowa State.
Play a second P5, sure, but you don't have to play the #1 team in the country!
