A friend I went to high school with is in the Athletic Department at Houston... he is constantly posting UH stuff on Facebook, and honestly, I had no interest in it until we joined the AAC. With that said, it may be time to see if he has any available tickets for football/basketball games!!

Now that is NICE!!!! I really like the idea of WSUSNA combo with the Shockers adopting the Midshipmen. I definitely feel the Shockers' fans are going to be at least curious about AAC football and moderately supportive.

As opposed to the non-football schools in C-USA v1.0 who seemed almost in unison show complete disdain for our football programs. And I do not think I am exaggerating.

First, I give them the benefit of the doubt of being good, patriotic Americans. Therefore Navy.
Second, natural cognate with the conference membership structure.
Third, I thought they already DISliked Tulsa?
Fourth, the Johnson-Niumatalolo-Jasper offense is a thing of beauty to watch.

I'm really looking forward to watching some AAC football this year.

I have not picked my adopted team yet. Current front runners for my affections are Navy, Houston, USF, and Cincy.

Having Shocker fans pummel Tulsa on the hardwood, then show up en masse for a Tulsa football game all decked out in Navy gear could foster a whole new level of hate than what was written about in the 80's. While it makes logical sense that we follow Navy, it's going to come across as a huge slap in the face considering the proximity of Tulsa to Wichita. I love it!

I haven't officially decided on who my football team will be either. Right now the leaders are Navy, Houston and ECU (I like the mascot and the atmosphere seems great). I do plan on actively watching and rooting for all AAC teams in football. I finally have horses in the college football race.

I, too, am a huge fan of atmosphere and tradition. I think for the first time, I'm going to make a solid effort at watching college football.

The AAC West could be one of the best divisions in all of FBS.
