I didn't even know it was a trophy game.

The state of South Carolina clearly has next to NOTHING to do in it.
[EDIT: and I actually really like Furman vs Wofford, so it's not like I have an anti-SC bias]

And why did the Louisville offense stall out? Superior athletes making a play when it counts. Kearse in 2014 and Edmond in 2016. That's what happens when you recruit and develop top talent.

Based on the continued reaction of your fan base, I think you all still have a ways to go to being "fine".

Nobody said the Heisman was fair. Yea, your boy in the ville may have got the trophy last year, but he did it while spectacularly shitting his pants over the end of the season including very embarrassing losses to LSU and Kentucky.

Joe Hamilton was flat out ROBBED of the Heisman his senior year. He was twice the impact player Ron Dayne was and, unlike Dayne, could change the entire game just by himself ... and not with the help of some brat eating 350 ib diabeetus fatties like they field in cheese land.

If your argument against Clemson is they don't have a Heisman ... I'm ... not ... impressed. And I say this as somebody who isn't exactly racing to defend kaplony at every (or any) turn.

I am just pointing out a fact about Clemson.

And ... explaining why so many of their fans have bothered flooding our boards with their nonsense about one of the most subjective awards given annually.

THEY care about this. They have proved it over and over again since they won the national championship. Like spoiled children, they need a spanking and to be sent to bed early.


As far as Lamar's performance last year, well, it was record setting. As horrific as the last three games were, he STILL ran away with the trophy. Which jsut goes to show how dominant he was up to that point. If DeShaun hadn't thrown as many INT's as he did, he may have won it himself. But alas ... he didn't. He was an INT machine last year.

No one else has put up the numbers Lamar did ... EVER. The Heisman is given away on those types of things. For better or worse.

But football is a team game (as Lamar himself will tell you), and the most important thing is winning a national title.

Unless you're a Clemson fan - apparently. Because the chatter has been incessant, and ridiculous.

First off.

It wasn't OUR argument against clemson.....

It was clemson blowing up twitter, facebook, snapchat, instagram, etc... claiming Deshaun was robbed when Lamar's vs. Deshaun's #'s speak for themselves.... PERIOD.

So you can defend kaplony all you want; but we are just fine with our Heisman and they are just fine with their 'ship trophy. BUT Lamar's Numbers were just better last year and Watson just threw WAY WAY WAY to many interceptions.
