Good interviews w/ Kirkpatrick, Thweatt, Sims and Kyree Hawkins. Sounds like Hereford and Holloway have been banged up and not practicing, though there was reference to Holloway finally getting on the field today. In terms of who starts the season at LB, sounds like leadership ability might trump pure athletic skill.

We've had some really good beat writers, and Madia has to rank up there close to the top. His coverage is great and the podcasts are great, too.
I like that he isn't a guy that seems to dig around looking for a story.. he just covers the team and writes great articles.

Agreed. Madia is awesome and seems to have a good relationship with the staff which means better content for us.

I couldn't agree more. Madia is a breath of fresh air. He's so good that he probably won't be around long, but I'm glad we have him here now. What a great time to have such a thorough and professional sports reporter covering the Dukes. His podcast had some pretty good nuggets in it from the coaches and his own observations. Kirkpatrick and Thweatt were especially informative.

Alls' career is just a shame. So much wasted talent. I don't see Mike Houston suspending guys twice, especially not consecutively. If there was another infraction I'm pretty sure they'd be gone. I don't understand why that's a difficult question for a reporter to ask or him to answer so we could all stop arguing about it. If he doesn't want to get into the specific reasons for why these players are suspended, that's fine. But, he could at least clarify whether it's a carry over from last year.
