It's kind of strange to schedule so many games out into the future. I'm not complaining though. And it can't hurt Tech's recruiting in the 757

Bawhahaha

Why's this funny. I can't think of many other schools willing to sign long term OOC like this. As far as their tidewater recruiting, there's a lot of competition for recruits there.

I bet $20 they blow you off for that last game. So you in essence signed a 5 for 1.

I don't know for a fact that will happen, but having that second road game at Liberty is pretty conspicuous.
It wouldn't be too smart to do it. U don't poop in your own front yard.

C'mon like VT needs Liberty on their good side. Whats Liberty going to do, refuse to play them again? If Liberty throws a fot then more games for ODU or any of the other CUSA/Sun Belt schools in the area.

My bad. I didn't think this series was about recruiting. I was laughing thinking that if VT wants those guys without playing a game vs OD, they'd get them anyway. But it can't hurt and it probably will get them a few guys they wouldn't get anyway. Can't take anything for granted.

Liberty has alot of political friends, especially in the VA General Assembly. So while Tech doesn't need us, there's nothing to lose with having a professional relationship. That said, I don't think Tech in 2030 or UVA in 2027 will buy out our games. The only losers in these games will be the losing team. Lynchburg is an hour south of Charlottesville and an hour and half northeast of Blacksburg. Obviously, there are a lot of Tech and UVA fans here, and the local football talent is pretty good too. So they both are essentially getting an extra winnable home game against a 1-A opponent while keeping their political fathers happy. It just makes too much sense for UVA, Tech, ODU, and Liberty all to have regular games against one another despite any type of political differences, and I think they all know that. However, I've been wrong before and can be wrong again, and those games are 10 and 13 years from now.

You do realize what's happening in VA isn't like other states right? Again, I wish the ACC 4 in NC had that attitude towards ECU. And Texas to Houston etc etc. Arkansas won't play Arkansas St in any sport. Not talking road games. I mean they won't play them at all, in anything ever. I think they ban it.
