One small problem....there aren't 64 elite teams.

And let's pretend that there are for a second....you put the 64 "elite" teams together, and you're left with about 10-15 elite teams after the cannibalization starts.

If the P5 has to put up with a Western Michigan or a Boise State or a Houston once a year in exchange for what they see as a pool of easy wins to select from to pad their schedules, I think they'll put up with the G5 for the foreseeable future.
