Today's tickets were available for students, faculty, staff, NAS members and season ticket holders.

Not all season ticket holders apparently.

This is probably the reason for the sell out. Hopefully, the same amount of folks are planning to go to the ballgame as well.

Now that pisses me off more. We screw STH so we can allow people to go that have no desire to come to a game.

I totally get the disappointment and frustration, but I do think this is an opportunity for people who aren't fans to get hyped up about the game- fans of other schools, students, UAB employees who wouldn't otherwise care, etc . I think that's partly the point of this whole thing, is it not?

no, it's a celebration for the return for the loyal and faithful, students and people who fought to bring it back

I think it's both of those things. Definitely a celebration, but also a major chance to get new people excited about UAB football.

Received my two tickets. Everybody has a chance to get tickets on the 4th - 10 a.m.

Exactly. And many of those complaining they didn't get tickets have said they didn't like Sam Hunt's music anyway.

I definitely think that's part of the point. But it's also clearly a marketing thing.
