Star System at its finest
This kid was a solid "4 Star" with multiple P5 offers. He commits to Princeton, and is promptly dropped to a "3 Star."

Kind of like when DeAngelo Williams signed with Memphis.

Dropped like a stone in their rankings as soon as he put ink to paper.

Wasn't he a target/potential commit for one of the AAC schools once upon a time? I seem to remember that name popping up here a few times throughout the last few months or so.

Thats a shame. But good for him. He knows he can get a great education and if he good enough for the NFL, the NFL can still find him in the Ivy League. If I was him I would work on graduating early from Princeton in under grad. Then as a grad student transfer to a FBS program for my final year then head to the NFL.

For whatever reason, Scout and Rivals are now both listing White as a 4 star.

But this has happened before. QB Holton Ahlers dropped from a 4 star to a 3 star after committing to ECU over NC State this year. On the other hand, ECU had a 4 star RB transfer from Tennessee over a year ago who hasn't played a down here yet, so the star system is far from perfect.

Good. I am 100% he dropped the other day. Scout was criticized. Maybe they bumped him back up.
