An Innovation Campus is being set up that is a public-private co-operative with businesses setting up on the condition they set up internships for students. It's mostly technology and engineering.

Private companies are building housing designed for students. We have an aerospace company moving onto campus who will share research and development with WSU's Engineering School. In medical, we have research going into adapting composites used in aerospace for use as joint replacements, as those composites are highly non-reactive.

We're in the early stages of a 160-acre campus expansion (1/2-mile x 1/2 mile).
I grew up on that golf course. Was just a fantastic place to grow up. Would play with the mens club during the summer. Talk trash with them during the round and then have my mom tell me the guy I told to not choke owned like 12 grocery stores. No one cared what you did off the course. Could you play when you got there?

RE: WSU billboard
Anyone could play the course for a green fee. It was operated pretty much like a public course.

I played it once long after I was out of college. I remember a par 3 that was in the range of 180 yards. If I had hit that thing "just that much" harder - well I probably would have shanked it if I hit it harder. Left my first shot about 6" short of the hole and absolutely lined up with the middle of the hole. Best golf shot I ever made.
