We need to jump on UL-Monroe HARD and not let up. I fear Sunbelt games.

I would think having a game like the UCLA game on the schedule helps focus a team during the off season. I'm optimistic that we will be ready to play this season.

We did the same thing to SEMO last year and it could have gotten ugly.

UCF is pretty good & improving, every reason to have concern...and for the team to be prepared & focused on THAT game. Last time I attended a regular season Tiger game in the state of FL, the Tigers beat UF & Emmitt Smith. Want to see that result in Orlando......

Series tied 1-1. But that lost was years ago by 1. Need to come out focused with an attitude that we are not going to let anyone stop us.

Best news is you see the most improvement between games 1 and 2.

I was watching highlights of that game last night. I started watching Tiger videos on Youtube and stayed up too late. Paying for it today. lol

Great game. Remember listening to a UF call in post-game radio show. All were very impressed with our team, amazed that Memphis talent was far superior to that of UF on both sides of the ball....wondering how can it be, we're in the SEC. Loved it!

Agree but I think it's to our advantage playing them early versus later in the season. Think UFC will be a much tougher team in week 7-8-9

The UFC is usually tough. They have some very good fighters, but some are overrated. (sorry couldn't resist). I do agree that UCF will get better throughout the season.

Emmitt Smith once said that we were the hardest hitting team he played in college.


I think Coach Norvell keeps this one a little close to the vest. Thinking more like Kansas score than Bowling Green, but I would gladly be wrong.
