this interview also proves a point, ask any AAC coach about the expansion or p5, they will differ to how good our league is...in the mwc they talk about long shot chances at big 12

You're kidding, right? It hasn't even been a year since a parade of AAC schools were tripping all over ourselves, traveling hat in hand to Texas to plead our case for Big 12 invitation? Begging, pleading, cajoling, pulling out every conceivable stop to get out of the AAC and into the Big 12.

Seriously? 07-coffee3

not by the coachs and not publicly by anyone in school power...
almost every comment were by billionaires and senators
ecu's coach is the only coach that publicly said they should be considered

everyone else deferred to "our current league is great". and note that was in the mist of what we all expected to be expansion

sdsu where their wont be any expension and wasnt prompted was talking about how they have to make themselves look good for the big 12 in the future...he already resigned himself to the fate of his current league

So when the most important member of the Board of Trustees and the President of the University of Houston are talking about needing to get into the B12 in order to sustain the level of spending, that is irrelevant because Tom Herman says "our league is great."

For the record, Rocky talks about how tough the MW is all the time. He is just one of the rare people that doesn't speak in bull**** "coach speak" on topics.

read into what he said.. most AAC are fine with the AAC if we are stuck, they see i as a viable option if nothing happens..your coach is talking about they need to look good for the big 12 and he wasnt even asked about the big 12

he also says he doesnt think sdsu will ever have a chance at the playoff..while most aac coaches think they will eventually grow as a conference to get at that and have a chance now if the playoff expanded (from media day)

Ummm, he was asked the same question about expanding the playoff, and said that we would get in and beat teams if they did.

Regarding the Big 12, we all have been saying that.

Pesik, all of these Universities want to get into the Big 12 or a P5 conference. Most coaches just speak "coach speak." To assert anything otherwise is just foolish.

"Yea but....."

Hey, what do you know, Craig Bohl says they can get in with an expanded playoff. He also pumps up the conference and says it will soon be as good as it was back in 2008. Shocking. "Coach speak."
