Did Ellis play last Saturday?

Esukpa was 8 carries for 49 yards, so will need more of that and then some

EDIT: What westside said about Ellis- was looking at the wrong game.

I wonder if we buried this statement in a time capsule and unearthed it every August if it would cease to not be true at some point...

Don't forget staying healthy. I know kinder has already given the humorous blessing, but staying healthy seems to be right up there, too. There's always 2 (or 10) injuries each year that make the team weaker. It's always brought up once the games start - if only...

FS - Cole Thomas back at #1

LaTech depth chart is up. Changes:
RB - no Sam Stewart, Esukpa is at #1 with Ellerbe #2
CB - Ellis listed as the #2 BCB

I like Esukpa. He has good speed and is very shifty.
Did Ellis play last Saturday?

Ellis had a couple tackles last weekend, I believe.

Awful news not having RB Stewart. I hope his eligibility time doesn't expire with him on the sidelines. He's our best player on offense. I'm sick about it.

RE: Two-deep depth chart
Does anyone have an update on Stewart? He got dragged down by the back of the jersey and had to be assisted walking.

It looked like a knee injury from my initial assessment (consistent with what one would see with the legs buckling on a horse collar tackle).

Correct. The UAB depth chart is in the game notes on the website. Changes from last week:
RG - Dill and Mokry swapped, with Dill now at #1
RB - Esukpa off the chart, Stewart back at #1
WR - Lance Wright off chart, Cephus up to #1, Cameron Johnson backing him up
WILL - Schantz replaces Brady Wright at #2 spot (Wright remains as the #2 LDE)
FS - Cole Thomas off chart, Destri White up to #1 with Houston Robert at #2

So Ellerbee is back, it seems? That's pretty huge for us.
