My hate for ECU is growing by leaps and bounds lately. Seems to be a common theme on this board though. It's funny how rivalries develop, we should be hating on Houston, Tulane and Memphis, but it's ECU that has Shocker fans noses wrinkled. Something flat out stinks about the whole University.

I have greatly enjoyed the off-season banter on this board. Certainly more exciting than the 1 post a week on MVCfans and the 5 posts a day on ShockerNet. I'm not sure if I want the trolling toned down during basketball season or if I want this back-and-forth trolling forever.

I haven't even developed a hatred for any of our fellow members yet. There certainly isn't anyone around here offering hundreds of dollars in wagers predicting Evansville will be better than Wichita State every year for the next five years. If you really want to troll me that's how you do it. Then welch on the bet when the time comes to pay up. Then I will be sufficiently triggered.

I realized after I posted that, all I had to do was check the Coog's baseball schedule, boy, was so glad to see my fears of the one trick pony were unfounded.

And... I know the state of Kansas isn't exactly what you call a football "hotbed" these days, but look at it this way... that just means y'all could be competitive right away (edit: In Kansas)!
