Wendi Thomas wasn't responsible for the subscription numbers.

The way of the world was.

I bought the newspaper every day until they hired Jason Smith as Tiger basketball beat writer. His articles were so boring and had so little information that I started asking myself why I continued to buy a paper in the first place.

Jason was ok. Problem their was he was force fed information that Pastner wanted him to have I guess.

And as for Mimi....I read the paper for information...not to constantly hear someone stirring up people's prejudices.

In my experience, newspapers do not treat readers like customers and it accelerated their fall when other options became available.

Hoo boy.

I am tired of hearing about it, instead of being tired if it.

We get that a lot.

The way of the world was.

Wendi Thomas was the reason I quit reading the entire paper. Tired of getting so frustrated with her platform for racism, I started reading only sports. Cancelled my Sunday paper subscription and went strictly online.

Then, when they started locking down content online, I quit even trying to read the CA. It is no longer a source for me. I read only the ones that I hear are must-reads.

So, for me, it was a combination of poor management and technology.
