If Top Play of All Time is T. Hebert 108 yard pick 6 vs. UM is #5, I can't wait for #1.
I was right there when UM QB Threet threw the pick. What a great play.

Tony Lee's 41 yd FG with a few seconds left to beat #20 San Jose State in the 1981 California Bowl was a good one.

RE: Top plays
Tony Lee's Kick was #6.

I'd go with Ealey to Smith against Villanova to keep the streak alive.

Or 3rd and 33, Gradkowski to Clarke.

FYI, #7 was Jones to Donta Green for TD against NIU.

#8 was stopping Air Force 2pt conversion in the 2011 Military Bowl.

Had my fingers crossed at the Villanova game. I was really sweating that one.

#9 Gradkowski to Hopkins in the 2nd OT against BG

#10 was Andy Boyd's pass breakup to seal the victory against Cinci.

My first college football game and I was convinced that I was going to be responsible for The Streak ending. Thank you, George Kiem!

Thats my vote, saw it from end zone, gave us the most notoriety, biggest emotional moment.

RE: Top plays
Even though it didn't mean a whole lot overall, have to give consideration to Alonzo Russell one-handed catch against CMU at their place. Made play of the week and I believe for the month as well on ESPN.

I was playing in a scrambles golf event and made the turn after nine holes. Was standing in the clubhouse and the game was on. Just so happened to be when that play occurred. I guess I was destined to see it. Went out and told everyone what happened and they thought I over-hyped it...until they saw the replay later on

Good one about Alonzo. I forgot all about that play. I was right there when he made that spectacular catch.

Best loss, at U of Miami in Orange Bowl 1987, 24- 13 I think. Our D played great, I think they scored on turnover situations. What were they ranked then? #5?

24-14. Miami was #3 and it was not a good Rockets team that year, as they finished 3-7-1

Miami scored 1 TD on a fumble return, which I somehow seem to remember was really an intercepted pitch, or is my memory playing tricks on me? Rockets also gave up 2 INTs, but actually outgained Miami.
