Warning - this is a long editorial with a lot of big words. But if you can somehow make it through it, the writer eloquently explains a number of reasons he was a Republican for 44 years, an Independent for one year, but is now joining the Democratic Party. I'm sure you'll ignore this post just like the 10 other ones already that answered your childish question.

Still waiting for my first answer....
Lmao at your article. No good reasons in it either. If you thought it had big words you must not really be a Rice graduate. Sad.

Nothing. Still nothing. The democrats will continue to lose. No message. Party of hate, fear and violence.

Chicago now. Sad. 2000 shootings this year.

To answer your question I dont think an entire republican Congress is a good thing. I just haven't found a positive reason to vote for a democrat. You can't seem to provide one either.

Only a libturd would believe that guy was ever a republican. You actually think we would be fooled by him, just like you thought we would be fooled by "undecided voters" who always voted republican who, at a debate, seem to think that the libturd loser candidate won.

Libturds are so easily hoodwinked. Its why fake news spouts fake news. You guys gobble it, because you wont think for yourselves. You wont change your pathetic party or oust any of the dipsh*ts in your party. Its why your party is filled with cuck Tim Kaine's, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosis, Crying Chuck Schumers, and loser criminal Hillarys. You dont demand better, so you get the worst of the worst. And then you wonder why you lose election after election, seat after seat, state house after state house.

Newsflash, the ordinary american isnt listening to you, the fake news, or the crybaby bittches in the street anymore.

RE: Serious post why vote for a democrat
I thought I just voted for a 1990s Democrat for president? President Trump is closer to a 1990s democrat than he is to a hard line right republican.

So unless the Democrats get back to the issues of the every day working families they lost their base. I think what happens over the next two to four years will decide if the Republicans can hold on to the voters they gained. Unless they get more done than they have showed so far. That probably wont happen. Well I say that, but if the Democrats keep up the crap they shown over the last 6 years....

they will lose these voters for a very long time.

It's make or break for them and to win back voters they (actually both parties) will need to show flexibility and start working to get things done. If they keep up the try to destroy President Trump at all cost...its over

I know a lot of you wont like this because depending on which side you fall on you hate one of these. But President Trump is a good mixture of Clinton and Regan and if those in congress would get passed the hate they will see it's good for both parties...the country. Now I hope the one thing President Trump does different than both of those. This war on drugs needs to be fought on a different front than lock them up throw away the key.

One thing I think President Obama (democrats) was on the right track....everyone that commits crimes don't deserve 15 to 20 years. It takes away room for those that really need that bed space.

Actually FDR would be seen as a HARD progressive today, outside of the handling of WW2.

Where as I think JFK would probably fall somewhere in the line of a neo-con today.

Quote:They need to go back to the party of JFK. That party had substance and had a serious response to the GOP views. I think it's safe to say that a number of "conservatives" who post here today would actually be Dems today if the party was focused on the economic health of working Americans and believed in a strong manufacturing/technological base as a foundation for our economy today.

And some of the GOP views at the time weren't really the conservative views of the day (again, a lot of GOP'ers favored price and wage controls that Nixon pushed for , for instance).

Let's not forget it was JFK's 'fiscal conservatism' that put him over Nixon to start with. But lets' not forget that for the most part, almost immediately after JFK was when the Democrats started sliding into the Socialism-supporting party that they have fully turned into today...

As said, most of us who voted for trump on here.. even TOLD you guys, we knew he wasn't a full conservative... but that he was as close as we knew we'd get at this point in time.

Therein lies the problem. They could get 75% of their agenda passed and a majority of Americans would never hear about it. Unless it was coupled with the Dems usual hyperbolic statements about grandma, etc., then they'd hear about it. So your line I bolded is a red herring.

Then why are you posting on a board you say your side doesn't post on? Furthermore, if posting on this board is so beneath you, why do you continue to post on this board?

I think I now have 3-4 posts in the last 7 months here...so the answer to your pointless question is simple...I don't.

good day.

Well, let me be the defender of the poor and misguided here for just a moment. Killary wasn't so bad looking when she was young her daughter though, "pobrecita", (this is the Mexican version of the Southern phrase, "bless her heart".

The third one from the bottom, the wannabe black woman, she's not that bad. She actually has good bones if she fixed herself up a little bit. Get another hair style maybe a French cut (I think that's what they call it) and a little makeup and she'd make a pretty white woman. Ahem, the only way she can pass for black is if she goes the Eddie Cantor route.

There are pictures of Chelsea Clinton where I think to myself, yeah I'd hit that. Then there are pictures like the one above, where my Admiral wouldn't salute if I OD'd on a whole bottle of Viagra.
