I agree. The longer this takes the more likely we will end up with something workable. I still think it should be scrapped completely.

The real problem is that Rand and Cruz want 'no healthcare/let them die' and Collins can't survive politically if that passes. Its also possible that Murkowski or Heller are not going to be voting for the Rand/Cruz plan. Twomey is probably in danger if anything like this passes.

My guess is that something gets passed. We won't even know what's in it at all until after it passes.

But I've already started the research into where in California I might have to move to if this passes and I lose coverage. I'm thinking Long Beach.

Why are you intentionally lying about what Cruz has proposed? It's more akin to what had been in place for decades before zerOcare was insidiously passed and screwed the entire system up.

You're young and healthy and don't want to pay XXXX for a bunch of crap you either don't need or dont think you'll need? Buy a bare-bones policy and go blow the rest at the bar every night.

That's what many (most) of us did for probably a decade or more in 20-early 30's. Other than being born (and one x-ray after a rugby match) had never set foot inside a hospital, why force them to purchase something they don't want, don't need and can't afford?

So the Democrat theme is "vote for us because the Republicans didn't clean up all of the God awful messes we made".
